The rules, in plain language.

Oryxen provides a public software catalogue and research workspace: directory listings, evidence briefs, guided decisions, comparisons, collections, reviews, and related account features. Some catalogue breadth and AI features require a signed-in account. Oryxen is operated from Chennai, India.

You sign in with a Google account via Firebase Authentication and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Oryxen may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt to bypass access controls or rate limits, scrape the catalogue at abusive volumes, or interfere with other users.

Do not use Oryxen to publish unlawful, infringing, or misleading content; to harass or impersonate others; to upload malware or probe the service for vulnerabilities outside good-faith reporting; or to misrepresent affiliation with Oryxen, tool vendors, or other users. Automated access must respect rate limits and robots directives.

You retain ownership of content you submit — reviews, tool submissions, suggestions, notes, and shared summaries. By submitting content for publication (reviews sent for moderation, public comparisons, public collections), you grant Oryxen a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display and distribute it on the service, including in shared links and search results.

Reviews are moderated before publication and may be edited for formatting or rejected for policy, accuracy, or evidence reasons. Publication is not an endorsement by Oryxen, and Oryxen may remove published content that violates these terms.

Catalogue records, evidence briefs, AI drafts, comparisons, and guides are research starting points — not guarantees of fit, pricing, availability, compatibility, security, or performance. Always verify material details with the official provider before adopting or paying for a tool, as described in the Methodology.

The Oryxen name, logo, design, and editorial content (guides, collections, blog articles) belong to Oryxen and may not be copied or reused in a misleading way. You may link to public Oryxen pages and share public links the service generates for that purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oryxen is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and Oryxen's liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim (the core service is currently free). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
