Your data, stated plainly.

Account information. When you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication provides Oryxen with your name, email address, and a Firebase identifier. Oryxen stores an opaque reference to that identifier — never your Google password or credentials.

Workspace content you create. Saved tools, private notes, tags, collections, comparisons, reviews, tool submissions, listing suggestions, follows, saved searches, and preferences are stored so your workspace works across sessions. Private notes, drafts, and non-shared records stay attached to your account and are never shown on public pages.

Public contributions you publish. Only content you explicitly publish — approved reviews, public comparisons, and public collections — appears on public pages and in shared links, limited to what each feature is documented to display.

Analytics and advertising. Oryxen uses consent-gated Google Analytics for aggregate, categorical discovery measurement, and Google AdSense for advertising. These third parties set their own cookies and receive standard technical data subject to your consent choice, which you can change at any time.

Operational data. Rate limiting, abuse prevention, and reliability monitoring process IP addresses and request metadata. Server logs are used for security and debugging only.

Oryxen uses a session cookie to keep you signed in, a stored analytics preference recording your consent choice, and third-party cookies from Google Analytics and AdSense where you have consented. Analytics collection stays off until you make an explicit choice in the consent notice.

You can clear Oryxen cookies in your browser at any time; signing out ends the server session. Note that clearing cookies signs you out and resets your consent choice.

Your information operates your account and workspace, enforces access boundaries (for example, members-only catalogue breadth and AI features), moderates community content, prevents abuse, and produces aggregate, non-identifying product measurement. Oryxen does not sell personal information and does not share workspace content with advertisers.

Service providers that process information on Oryxen's behalf — Firebase (authentication), Google Analytics (measurement), Google AdSense (advertising), and infrastructure hosting and database providers — handle it under their own terms and only for the services they provide.

Public links you create (comparisons, collections) expose only the fields each share feature documents — never private notes, drafts, or account identifiers. Approved reviews display the review text, rating, and tool name. Beyond what you publish and what processors need to operate the service, Oryxen discloses information only when required by law or to protect the security of the service.

Inside your workspace you can edit or remove saved tools, notes, collections, comparisons, reviews, follows, and notification history at any time; removal takes effect immediately in the product, with backups expiring on their normal rotation. To request export or complete deletion of your account and workspace data, contact us via the Contact page and requests are actioned within 30 days.

If this policy changes materially, the effective date below is updated and the change is noted here for at least 30 days. Continued use of Oryxen after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
